1967 (?). Switzerland (?). Black with white (?) interior. Pictured on a postcard, early 70ies (after 1972, as pictured Ford Consul Fastback (yellow) debuted in Geneva 1972), in front of Hotel Murtenhof, Murten/Switzerland. The hotel still exists. Does the car too? Note missing rear view mirror. In Switzerland, rear view mirrors became mandatory on new cars in 1970, on all cars in 1971. If the postcard shows a Swiss car, it would therefore not be road legal. In Italy, rear view mirrors became mandatory only in 1977. Is it therefore a Quattroporte with Italian number plates? Picture would then definitely date from between summer 1972 and summer 1976. The postcard shows a printing number which includes „73“. So picture most probably dates from summer 1973.
