1967. Italy. First owner claimed to be Italian actor Alberto Sordi, ordered by him in August 1967. Registered Roma A96170. Sold by him in 1973. Then in the Frosinone region. 1976 back in Rome, where it receives its third registration Roma U76037.  Restored by Autosport Bastiglia/Modena (maybe for the Orsi family), sold in 2005 to Andrea Cigognani (owner of Cigognani Guarnizioni, producer of rubber joints also for the Quattroporte). Exhibited at Forlì Show 2012. Rumour has it that Sordi asked for a discount, but didn‘t get one (he wasn‘t as good a customer as the Aga Khan...). At least, Sordi was allowed to pay the car in installments, a modest token gesture by the company for an excellent product placement, as Sordi drove a Quattroporte (X72) and a Ghibli in one of his films. Some claim it was this car, but this is not possible, as this one‘s interior is blue, the one‘s used in the film is red, and the film car is definitely a 2000 series, while 1436 is a 1000 series (boot opens from outside, but already with different window lifter/cigar lighter treatment at the back). This car appeared in an article in January 2014 edition of French magazine Gazoline.
