This first series model by Minichamps is limited to 2544 pieces. Launched in ca 2009, it is officially sold out, but you can still find some new ones on ebay or at swapmeets. It has got 49 different parts and 70 decorations (decals, tampon prints, mask sprays and free hand sprays), the colour is called grigio ferro metallizzato, a shade which is unfortunately not in the official Quattroporte‘s colour chart.This is, as far as I know, the only available colour. It‘s made in China and is available at about 40 €. This is probably the model which matches the contours and proportions best of all Quattroporte models, while lacking the more handmade aspect of the BBR and Replicars models and the charm of the Politoys.
